Sapphire brings DDR4 to HD4670

  • Few months ago we told u about the GDDR4 version of Powercolor HD4850, well i m not sure how well it goes but i really had a good feeling about the card & since GDDR5 came into existence, GDDR4 didn’t get much of a shot. Now, Sapphire has gone the same way with HD4670 & releases it in GDDR4.

    The final specs are:

    • 512MB og GDDR4 memory.
    • 128-bit memory interface.
    • 320 shader processors.
    • 750MHZ of Core Clock.
    • 2200 MHZ of GDDR4 memory(200 MHZ more than GDDR3 version).
    • Native CrossfireX support.
    • Direct X 10.1 support.

The new graphics card also features Dual slot cooler featuring a slim low profile fan. It also comes with onboard D-Sub, DVI-D & HDMI ports. The Blue PCB does look unconventional but worth a sacrifice over the performance gain. The card doesn’t require external power & costs USD96.
