Nokia N97 – An i-phone Killer?

Well Nokia N97 might be the fully loaded super phone of Nokia N-series but rumors are that it might be the next i-Phone killer. With the new 5th edition of S60 platform, 3.5″ touch screen & full functional QWERTY keyboard under the slide will make it not only i-Phone but may be the real pain for many other brands like Sony, Motorola, Samsung, LG, HTC etc.

The new NOKIA N97 features tri-band HSDPA and quad-band GSM ensure world wide roaming, but the new Nokia N97 also holds 32GB of internal memory, a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, touch-enabled Nokia Maps with a digital compass, an accelerometer for auto screen rotation and a proximity sensor for auto screen turn-off during calls.

The 3.5″ 360X640 (16:9) resolution OLED screen will surely glare ur eyes. The stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, TV-out and FM radio with RDS, n-gage platform are few great features of the bad boy which won’t stop coming.

The phone is set to release in Q2 2009 with a hefty price of approx. USD800 (might come cheaper).
