XFX launches X58 motherboard

XFX has been out of the news for quite long time but it’s back with its new motherboard featuring the Intel X58 chipset.

The new XFX X58i features X58 chipset & the back panel holds PS/2 port, six USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire, 7.1-channel audio with optical and coaxial S/PDIF out and a CMOS reset button. The board also has six SATA connectors, three headers for six additional USB 2.0 ports, a debug LED and dual BIOS. The chipset is cooled by a basic heatpipe cooling solution.
It looks like the same board as EVGA’s design. Earlier XFX used nVidia reference design but it seems this one is bit different from reference.
There is no price from the company but features wise it will be a less expensive board than others.
