PS3 lags far behind in console sales for this chistmas

As we already published earlier about PS3 getting nabbed by X360 & Wii in hardware price here, Sony certainly need to cut some price. Acc. to the a report from CNNmoney, PS3 falls much more back than X360 & Wii sales  for the month of November, CNNmoney calls it a “sinking ship“. The biggest festive season is coming next week & Sony doesn’t have anything up to its sleeves. The sales of PS3 has fallen to 19 percent from what it did last year in the same month.

There are several factors that Sony is counting on starting from Blu-Ray format gets universally approved & some exclusive titles like MGS4, Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Resistance 1 & 2 but higher price & lack of games surely kills what Sony was expecting. Nobody cares much about Blu-Ray since similar games are selling like hot cakes in other consoles & PS3 sales are darn low.

Well its a positive point of PS3 to have some exclusive titles like MGS 4 & etc. but with the numereous game titles & few exclusive like GeOW 2 & cheaper price , X360 certainly kills PS3 in all sectors. SONY seriously needs to chop some more dollars if they wan’t to survive for a longer period of time otherwise they only will able to witness their USD400 Cell processored console eating dust on the shelves.
