nVidia plans to beat AMD with price cut
-

For the past two years team green dominated the graphics world & took enough advantage of the dominance. U can clearly see the G80 chip was so expensive, it costs an arm & a leg at the time of launch but nVidia did collect massive green leaves. But ever since team red came back with a bang with RV770, nVidia faces many losses. First they cut some jobs then some partners & some left green & joined red & some cease to exist.
Well acc. to the Jon Peddie Research (JPR) report, after the loss of Q3 nVidia has almost nothing up their sleeves but cutting prices on the their graphics chips which certainly a good news for potential buyers. With the launch of RV770, AMD captures almost 50% of the graphics market which became a huge loss on the green team share market.
Now the big news is nVidia is cutting price on its GT200, G92b & G94 chips to take on the world of red domination & for those who are saving some dough for some computer eye candy, this will be the time when u can turn ur single card rigs to SLI rigs before the next generation of expensive graphics chip emerge.
