Windows Vista SP2 Beta releases next week

  • Microsoft has always been gracious by delivering new news. Last week they released 49 new updates for its operating systems. And this time they bring a smile on the faces of their Microsoft Windows Vista users by bringing SP2. Now don’t get too excited because this is only a beta release so there might be some chances of a little vulnerability but it will have some improvements over the so far most stable service pack (SP1) for  Windows Vista.

Now as mentioned over vista blog, the new SP2 for Windows Vista will feature following improvements:

    • Windows Vista SP2 adds Windows Search 4.0 for faster and improved relevancy in searches.
    • Windows Vista SP2 contains the Bluetooth 2.1 Feature Pack supporting the most recent specification for Bluetooth Technology.
    • Ability to record data on to Blu-Ray media natively in Windows Vista.
    • Adds Windows Connect Now (WCN) to simplify Wi-Fi Configuration.
    • Windows Vista SP2 enables the exFAT file system to support UTC timestamps, which allows correct file synchronization across time zones.

If you are a Windows Vista user and already have upgraded to SP1, then just give it a try, although its in beta stage but will be better than previous one.
